February 7, 2011 marks the 11th year for National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. This is an HIV/AIDS testing and treatment community mobilization initiative targeting Black communities.

Each year, community stakeholders locally, nationally and internationally plan events and/or activities focused on raising awareness about HIV and getting individuals tested.

As communities and planners begin to work on their NBHAAD 2011 activities, we encourage you to keep us abreast of what is happening so we can post it on our site. It's time for the village to come together and work together.
